Burnley BID is looking for vintage car owners for an event

The Burnley Business Improvement District (BID) is looking for classic car owners and enthusiasts to display their vehicles at an event later this year.
On Saturday 10 September, the Burnley Vintage Car Show will see the town center come alive with retro cars and motors.
However, the BID is first looking for classic car owners who want to participate in the event and display their beloved machines.
The downtown organization would also like to hear from motorcycle owners and anyone with a vintage vehicle who might be interested in getting involved.
All people have to do first is complete a short form on the Discover Burnley website and then the Burnley BID will contact them if they have been chosen to participate.
Places will be limited and potential attendees are requested to arrive early if they wish to exhibit at the show. Interest can be registered here: https://discoverburnley.co.uk/burnley-vintage-car-show/.
Burnley BID project manager Andrew Dean is looking forward to the event and hopes people with an eclectic and eye-catching range of vehicles will sign up to attend.
‘The Burnley Vintage Car Show will bring something a little different to the town center and our aim is for people to come and enjoy the beautiful machinery on display while also taking the time to browse some of the shops and have a drink or some have a bite to eat.
“The vehicles will be on display on St James’s Street and also in Charter Walk and we hope to have a real mix of cars from different eras and decades for people to see.
“If you have a classic vehicle or know someone who does, please see the dedicated event page on the Discover Burnley website. Seeing a range of beautiful cars and bikes in the heart of Burnley would be quite a sight, so write to us today!
