Classic Car Night is back in Nyack for the 10th year

NYACK, NY – A decade-old village tradition with classic cars returns to the town of Nyack.

The 10th Annual Classic Car Night will be held on Main Street on Thursday.

The event presented by the Nyack Chamber of Commerce will run from 6pm until dusk, with a rain date reserved for Thursday July 28

Admission is free, organizers say.

Main Street and the Municipal Main Street parking lot will be filled with immaculately maintained “oldies”, rare antiques, custom builds, hotrods and muscle cars. Car enthusiasts will be thrilled to see some of the most revered icons in automotive history up close, according to a spokesperson.

“This community-focused event promises to once again attract a strong contingent of car enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds – people who take pride in owning and maintaining special vehicles, as well as people who appreciate them” , said Roger Cohen, president of Nyack. Chamber of Commerce. “It’s a great way to spend a memorable summer day and evening in our beautiful waterfront village.”

Classic Car Night joins another Chamber-led community initiative – the Nyack Thursday Farmer’s Market – taking place earlier Thursday (8 a.m. to 2 p.m.) in the Main Street municipal parking lot. When all the fruit, vegetables, artisan specialties and other fresh local delicacies have been sold out, the classic cars will head to Main Street to begin the evening’s festivities.
