Classic car show to lend a paw to Pasadena Humane – NBC Los Angeles

Dogs enjoying a happy stroll around town?

This is a common sight, as many of our dogs seem to like car rides.

Maybe it’s the fact that their adorable ears flutter adorably in the breeze, or that there is the possibility of a frozen treat if their human visits a drive-through, or the exciting prospect of stopping by the store. with all dog toys.

What if a bunch of nice cars can gather in Lacy Park at the end of August? They could raise funds for the dogs and other creatures who are so warmly helped by Pasadena Humane, as well as the Rotary Club of San Marino.

For the San Marino automobile classic does just that, while giving fans of vintage vroom-vroom machines something to admire at their own pace.

And we mean “a lot” there, for “… more than 400 cars in perfect condition representing the best of American, Asian and European automotive ingenuity “will be exhibited in a neat manner in the morning and early afternoon.

But before you take the tour of these vibrant, well-maintained vehicles, thinking of every shining detail, you’ll surely want to call the Wiggle Waggle Wagon, where an adoption fair will be held.

In and around the wagon? Oh our hearts: the honeys from the shelter will be there, waiting to snuggle up, cuddle, and maybe even come home with you.

Your $ 30 ticket helps the venerable Animal Center and its many programs, which have been helping our furry, feathered and scale friends for over a century now. The Rotary Club of San Marino is also a beneficiary of the event.
