Jamshedpur will host the first rally of classic and vintage cars and bikes on February 27

Jamshedpur, February 25: The people of Jamshedpur will be in for a nice surprise this Sunday, February 27 when Tata Steel officially launches Jamshedpur’s first-ever classic and vintage car and bike rally from the city’s landmark, Gopal Maidan. The rally was organized as part of the 183rd Founder’s Day celebrations.

Tata Steel and Jamshedpur will host over 30 vintage and classic cars and motorcycles manufactured between 1920 and 1980. Owners of Ranchi, Chaibasa and Jamshedpur will have the unique opportunity to display their vehicles during an hour and a half rally through the city. The rally will also feature a special entrant, the ‘Hitodi’ of Jamshedpur, a 50cc moped manufactured by India Automotives Ltd. in Adityapur in the 1970s.

This unique and one of a kind event in Jamshedpur will be reported by TV Narendran, CEO and Managing Director of Tata Steel.

Jamshedpur is not only the home of connoisseurs of prized vintage cars and bikes but also has a rich cultural history and heritage. The rally aims to promote the rich culture and history of Jamshedpur.

Tata Steel’s vintage and classic car and bike rally will begin with vehicle assembly at Gopal Maidan at 7am and end with an awards ceremony at the United Club at 9am.
