Motorsport legend’s charity boost as Borders classic car show returns

This joint event, sponsored by the Swiss watchmaking firm Rolex, is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday June 18 and 19.

The party celebrating the career of three-time Formula One champion Sir Jackie will raise funds for Race Against Dementia, a West Dunbartonshire-founded charity who was born at 82 in 2018 following his wife Helen’s diagnosis with the disease two years ago earlier, and he intends to be there to participate in the proceedings.

The Scottish Motor Racing Club will feature live action as drivers of a mix of classic and contemporary cars tackle a sprint down the castle driveway. by the Borders Vintage Automobile Club on the occasion of its 50th anniversary and its 15th Salon at the Château.
