Greek life at Penn State reunited Mary and Ian, who dated seven years before he popped the question while on a beach trip with his family. A year after tying the knot in a pandemic-limited party at the elegant barn of the groom’s father’s home, they welcomed 268 guests for a second ceremony and reception West-Coast-meets-rustic-elegance at the same location. A vintage car motif carried the day, guiding friends and family to the “Find Your Ride” escort display of spray-painted mini cars. Florals, in nudes and neutrals with caramel pinks, were among Mary and Ian’s favorite details. Guests mixed it in a botanical tonic bar of craft cocktails and mocktails with dehydrates, herbs, spices, bitters, and botanical garnishes. At dessert time, they browsed through dozens of bites made by loved ones for the Pittsburgh cookie table, a nod to Mary’s hometown.
